Researchers develop pill which heavily reduces methane gas from cows
A pill which can stop cattle producing methane gas is now available to farmers.
The seaweed based tablet can cut the emissions of cows by up to 90 per cent.
Doctor Michael Battaglia from The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation told Jim Wilson it also has potential benefits for our food production.
“The seaweed is being grown so we can have low methane milk and meat for consumers.”
