Fundraising efforts across the country are determined to support fire-ravaged communities.

Two people are unaccounted for in bushfire affected towns in south-east NSW after the extreme conditions over the weekend.

The Red Cross is working to support scores of people affected by the crisis.

Acting CEO of Australian Red Cross Noel Clement tells Mark Levy they have received a great deal of support.

“We are getting support from across the world so it is truly tremendous.

“We’ve raised over $23 million just since New Year’s Eve.”
