Opposition Leader Chris Minns has questioned the department of education after the number of executives nearly doubled.

Mr Minns said the number of senior executive director positions had increased from 34 to 58 over three years.

“It’s hard to think what everybody’s doing,” he said on 2GB Drive.

“Why you’d need such a massive increase in the number of senior executives.”
