Federal Tourism & Trade Minister Dan Tehan expects to see the cruise industry returning on April 14.

After having the cruise ban extended until April 17th it looks like Australian waters will be graced by these magnificent ships once again.

The Minister told Jim Wilson, “Wednesday at the latest we will be able to announce that cruising will resume”.

Collaborating with the NSW and Queensland government Mr Tehan said, “I spoke with the Queensland Tourism Minister last night, he’s keen for Queensland to join New South Wales”.

“Unless there is something that comes up from their health officials we’re ready and raring to go.

“Nothing will make me happier than having this issue sorted.”
