  • UPDATE: Click HERE for a wrap of Jeff Horn’s knockout victory

Ray Hadley will call tonight’s ‘River City Rumble’ LIVE and FREE on our sister station, Macquarie Sports Radio.

The highly anticipated fight between veteran Anthony Mundine and former WBO world champion Jeff Horn will be held at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

Ray will be joined in commentary by former professional boxer Billy Dib.

Both fighters made weight at a fiery weigh-in yesterday, with Mundine grabbing his more-favoured opponent by the throat.

The 43-year-old is adamant he can beat the recently dethroned WBO World Champion.

While Horn is desperate to get his career back on track after suffering a resounding loss to Terence Crawford in Las Vegas back in June.

The main event is scheduled to begin at 9.30pm (QLD) and 10.30pm (AEDT).

You can hear the call live and free on 954AM Sydney, 882AM Brisbane or online at sportsradio.com.au

Hear the announcement below:

Before the big event, there will be a jam-packed undercard:

Cameron Hammond (17-1) vs Frank Rojas (23-1)

Brent Rice (8-0) vs Liam Wilson (2-0)

Ben Mahoney (5-0) vs Adrian Rodriguez (11-1-2)

David Aloua (12-2) vs Kurtis Pegoraro (11-4)

Kye Mackenzie (20-1) vs Francis Chua (5-0-1)

Kori Farr (2-4-2) vs Krystina Jacobs (1-0)

Ben Horn (debut) vs Lachlan O’Shea (debut)

In the lead up to the fight, Anthony Mundine has been doing what he does best, stirring up controversy.

He clashed with Macquarie Sports Radio hosts Dave Culbert and Matt Thompson over his “lack of respect” for Australia’s flag and national anthem.

The indigenous boxer says they are symbols of white supremacy and that he’ll be sitting down during tonight’s national anthem.
