Ray Hadley has slammed the placement of electric car charging stations.

NRMA introduced the new Wilcannia-based fast charger as a way to represent Australia’s motoring future paying homage to the land’s rich Indigenous culture.

Ray has raised concerns after a listener contacted him from Wilcannia, stating that the stations are “in the middle of nowhere”.

The Mornings host believes the money used on electric charging stations, specifically in Wilcannia, is a waste due to it being so small and not close enough to other stations to be a pitstop.
