Ray Hadley has called out Labor MPs “whingeing” over leader Chris Minns supporting legislation cracking down on illegal protesters.

Some Labor MPs have accused Mr Minns of steamrolling the party into urgently supporting a crackdown on protests.

“Give yourself an uppercut,” Ray said.

“Finally you have a leader who could win it for you and you want to bag him!

“You fools. You don’t deserve him.”

Labor leader Chris Minns responded to the criticisms in his own party.

Mr Minns told Ray Hadley, “under no circumstances would we support peaceful legislation that would allow the kind of activities that we’ve seen over the last four weeks”.

“That’s why we’ve made the decision to support the legislation as it passes through the New South Wales upper and lower house.”
