Ray Hadley is set to call his 91st State of Origin match tonight live on 2GB.

Ray called his first State of Origin game in 1987 and hasn’t looked back since.

Admitting the adrenaline will clock in around 8pm, Ray told Jim Wilson he has been preparing all afternoon as he hasn’t commentated on NRL footy regularly.

“Once the ball is in play, the adrenaline takes over.”
