Ray Hadley calls out Peter V’landys for inconsistent player ban

Article image for Ray Hadley calls out Peter V’landys for inconsistent player ban

Ray Hadley believes Peter V’landys has made a “really bad blue” for delaying Taylan May’s ban.

The NRL made the call to delay the Penrith Panthers star’s ban and allow him to play in this year’s final.

The winger was handed a two-game suspension after being found guilty of assault however the suspension won’t kick in until 2023.

Australian Rugby League commissioner Peter V’landys said the decision was made for the fans.

Ray says the decision is inconsistent with previous calls where players have been left out of finals footy, thus leaving fans “robbed”.

“What Peter has done is change the narrative.”
