Raiders hooker Zac Woolford is flying high following Saturday’s big win

ZAC WOOLFORD

Canberra Raiders hooker, Zac Woolford, has reflected on his time in the game, following the teams 20-14 win against the Broncos on Saturday.

Zac told Mat Thompson and Paul Gallen that he “took a little bit longer to mature” as an NRL player than most others.

“I thought it was going to happen for me and then I went up to the Bulldogs, and then the Knights and it didn’t,” said Zac.

“Last year I was playing footy at Newtown and it was the best I had ever felt…before I knew it, I’d played 20 games.”

The Canberra Raiders have the chance to go 2 for 2 on Sunday at 2:00pm against the Dragons.
