Nick Abood, Ray Hadley’s Sydney-based studio producer, has taken an unexpected dip into Darling Harbour while attempting a playful prank on his girlfriend.

Nick, aiming for a comical effect, planned to trick his girlfriend, Hannah, into thinking he was falling into the harbour. However, the joke took a turn when Nick slipped and really did end up in the drink.

Quick-thinking bystanders saved the day, hoisting the six-foot-seven producer from the harbour, turning the prank into a rescue mission.
