The NSW Harness Racing CEO is hoping Dominic Perrottet will continue to “see the light” to keep the Penrith Paceway.

The Penrith Harness Racing Club received the news from Infrastructure New South Wales yesterday that it plans to rebuild the Penrith Stadium on that land.

Owners of the paceway and showground were handed the acquisition notice with no clear pathway to relocating the Penrith landmark somewhere else in the local area.

Harness Racing NSW CEO John Dumesny told Ray Hadley the entire community feels “blindsided” and is urging the Premier to get involved to keep the Paceway.

“Leave it right where it is!”
