South Sydney star Cameron Murray has recalled the moment the Rabbitoh’s broke their 43-year drought and won 2014 NRL Grand Final.

The Rabbitohs will face off with the Penrith Panthers this Sunday.

South Sydney Rabbitohs lock Cameron Murray was in Year 11 when the team won their last Grand Final.

He told Ben Fordham the moment is ingrained in his memory as he watched on with his father, former Souths player Corey Murray.

“I was actually in the stands.

“It was pretty special for me having my dad there, who hadn’t seen a Souths team win a premiership his whole life.

“Pretty keen to make it a reality now that I’m actually playing.”
