South Sydney Rabbitohs will take on the Penrith Panthers on Saturday in a rematch of last year’s grand final.

Questions are flying over whether try-scoring machine Alex Johnston will feature in the match after a hip flexor injury.

South Sydney Rabbitohs coach Jason Demetriou told Ben Fordham he’s on 60/40 odds of playing.

“He’s doing a bit of work today with a physio and then he’ll have a run tomorrow morning.

“By tomorrow morning we’re hoping he’d be able to get through the training session and be OK to play.”
