Zlatko Sikorsky will fight murder charges over 16yo Larissa Beilby

Lawyers for the man accused of murdering a 16-year-old Brisbane girl say he’s innocent and will fight the charges.
Zlatko Sikorsky didn’t appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court as his case was briefly mentioned this morning.
The 34-year-old has been charged with the murder of Larissa Beilby and a further 18 offences, including torture, deprivation of liberty, possessing weapons and dangerous drugs.
The Brisbane girl had been missing for almost two weeks before her body was discovered in a barrel in the back of a ute on Wednesday last week.
Sikorsky fled from police when officers arrived at his Buccan address.
He was traced to a unit at Alexandra Headlands on the Sunshine Coast, sparking a tense 28-hour siege that ended on Saturday.
It’s believed Larissa and Sikorsky were in a relationship.
His case has been adjourned until September 3.
