The Queen has been laid to rest in the King George VI memorial chapel at Windsor Castle, alongside her late husband, parents and sister.

Around two-thousand people attended the state funeral at Westminster Abbey, including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The service closed to the sound of bagpipes, played by the Queen’s personal piper.

Nine Radio reporter Clinton Maynard told Ben Fordham there were more than 2 million people in London.

“At Windsor Castle, waiting for the Queen, her two corgis being held down on a lead.”
