Western Sydney locals are once again struggling with a strong stench.

Last year, the Bingo landfill facility was found to be behind a disgusting odour permeating homes in Minchinbury and surrounding suburbs.

When that issue was resolved, another smell took over before the stench from Bingo returned.

Listener Michelle told Ben Fordham the smell is “putrid”.

Environmental Protection Authority’s Executive Director Steve Beaman told Ben Fordham the heavy rain has caused the smell.
