‘Put a handbrake on’: Unions back Perrottet’s pokies push

A prominent union leader has become the latest person to throw their support behind planned gambling reforms.

The Premier wants poker machines to be made cashless in a bid to crack down on money laundering and problem gambling.

Unions New South Wales Secretary Mark Morey told John Stanley, the move makes sense.

“Given the amount of money that is going through poker machines, we need to put a handbrake on and this gambling card will do that.”
