Ray Hadley is calling for children’s swimming lessons to resume earlier than December.

Outdoor pools are now reopened for all people but indoor pools will not reopen until December 1.

Federal Member for Lindsay Melissa McIntosh told Ray Hadley 250,000 swimming lessons will be missed each week for the duration of the lockdown.

“We need to stop the drownings before they happen.

“We could be facing a national tragedy this summer if we don’t do something about it.”
