Primary school play under fire for ‘rewriting history’

joe hildebrand

A primary school in Sydney’s north has been forced to cancel a play after it was accused of rewriting history about Captain Cook and the First Fleet.

The Daily Telegraph reports the play included inaccuracies on the colonisation of Australia.

Dr Kevin Donnelly, an education expert and commentator, weighed in on the story.

“It doesn’t surprise me,” he told Joe Hildebrand on 2GB Drive.

He said the curriculum has been “slanted towards the woke, left-wing approach”.
