Cardinal George Pell’s body will lie in state in Sydney as police attempt to block protests planned for his funeral.

The New South Wales Police Commissioner will request an order to the Supreme Court to stop the planned action in Hyde park.

Mal Lanyon told Ben Fordham there are safety concerns ahead of the funeral tomorrow.
