Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in Sydney’s Inner West and have released CCTV footage, seeking public assistance to identify a person of interest.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Parramatta and Bridge roads at Stanmore on the 28th of May, following reports of a crash involving a stolen BMW sedan and a pedestrian.

As authorities continue their inquiries, police have released footage of an individual who may possess crucial information to assist with the investigation.

The man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, with a slim build, black hair, and brown eyes. He is wearing a black shirt, black shorts and a face mask.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 orĀ https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
