Police have released CCTV footage of two men setting a Sydney pub on fire in a bid to catch the criminals.

The men have remained at large ever since the arson attack on the Petersham Inn on June 4 last year.

They allegedly smashed a glass door of the Parramatta Road pub at about 1.15am before throwing a flaming jerry can inside.

Newly released footage shows the men, dressed all in black and covering their faces, light the jerrycan.

No one was injured in the blaze but the pub suffered fire and smoke damage.

Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
