Wool auctions a step closer to going online

Wool auctions being held online have moved a step closer.

Online platform Wool Q has been tested in recent weeks, with a successful trial last week, selling 13 lots of wool during a 40 minute period.

The platform will begin weekly auctions from Thursday the 30th of April.

AWI Eastern Hemisphere General Manager John Roberts spoke with rural editor Eddie Summerfield.
