Wine exports boom despite US decline
The story of wine exports is becoming one of sustained growth, with new figures from Wine Australia revealing an 11 percent increase over the past year.
The $2.71 billion sector is booming largely thanks to China with 24 percent growth during the past 12 months.
Wine Australia’s focus is looking towards addressing a decline in product sent to the US which was down 8 percent in the year to October.
