Why more older women are getting tattoos

Mike is accompanied by Marcus (Gummy) Johnston, the owner of Thanks Tattoo in Darlinghurst and the NSW State Representative of the PTAA (Professional Tattooing Association of Australia), to delve into the burgeoning phenomenon of older women embracing tattoos.

A 2022 McCrindle report revealed that almost one in five adult Australians (19 percent) sport tattoos, with women surpassing men, accounting for 24 percent of the inked population.
