Craig Gower was considered Penrith’s best local product since Brad Fittler. A prodigious talent, injury prevented him from representing more than he did. He played 238 games for the mountain men, captaining the side to the 2003 grand final. Gower donned the Kangaroos jersey 18 times, and wore the blue of NSW and the Italian rugby team.
