More cycle lanes, longer times at pedestrian crossings or the speed limit being reduced to 30km/h in some CBDs? These are some of the suggestions put forward in the Committee of Sydney’s review to help ease congestion on Sydney’s roads. Eamon Waterford the CEO tells Michael McLaren that transport vouchers, raising tolls and even implementing a ‘road user charge’ per kilometre travelled have all been put forward as possible solutions.
