As we busily prepare for Christmas and spend these holidays lazing around the beach, many Australian troops are spending the festive season on duty.

To find out what Australian Defence Force personnel deployed in Iraq will get up to, Natalie Peters speaks with Captain Mark Whitfield.

Captain Whitfield is a reservist working for the Advise and Assist team assisting the North Baghdad Operations Centre.

He tells Natalie they have a special concert from the Forces Entertainment Tour plus a feast on Christmas Day.
