What do our veterans think of Remembrance Day

John Stanley

Ahead of Remembrance Day, we often think about our veterans and if they look forward to these days of commemoration or are they days they dread.

John Stanley chats to Jasmine Stanton, a former Navy officer and Army Reservist who now runs Australia’s specialist legal service for veterans and Defence members.

Jasmine highlights how in their first year, they had almost 1,100 phone enquiries however, there is a significant problem many people are reluctant to seek help and unaware there is free and confidential legal support out there that is independent of the ADF and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
