Welcome to National Women’s Health Week

John Stanley

September 6-10 is National Women’s Health Week. This national health week first started in 2013 when the organisation Jean Hailes for Women’s Health realised that there was no event dedicated to women’s health in Australia, and decided to run the very first national Women’s Health Week.

Jean Hailes’ Women’s Health Week is a week dedicated to all women across Australia and encourages them to make good health a priority. Every year a range of events and online activities are organised throughout the week with a particular focus for each day. Today is day 2 of Women’s Heath Week and the focus is on problem periods.

Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from the San Dr Ellie Bailey joins John Stanley.
