david berthon

Volkswagen Australia this week announced the roll-out of its electric vehicle fleet
confirming the arrival of the VW Golf sized ID.3 hatch and the ID.4 and ID.5 SUVs
in showrooms next year. In all, five Volkswagen battery electric vehicles will
arrive by 2025 including a rather funky ID.Buzz people mover, and its commercial
derivative the ID.Buzz Cargo van, both expected to really resonate with local
buyers. It’s a late arrival to the EV market for the German brand however its

they will get off to a flying start. Volkswagen Australia has confirmed the recently
upgraded ID-3 hatch will kick off below $60,000 in order to gain national and state
based electric vehicle incentives while the Tiguan sized ID.4 SUV would also start
below that figure once incentives and rebates are factored in. I’m David Berthon
