Turning food waste into skincare

A Victorian food processing company is leading the charge in minimising food waste.

Kagome has partnered up with Native Extracts to turn waste into cosmetic products.

They’ve launched a new product called Red Velvet, which is a face oil made from tomato seed waste.

Rural reporter Alexander Nimmo spoke to Functional Ingredients General Manager Troy Hudson to find out more.
