Transport Workers Union to protest unjustified pay cut

Food delivery riders are in a battle against delivery companies with riders of company Hungry Panda protesting against a unilateral pay cut and the sacking of a worker for organising a protest.

The company claims the roughly 20% pay cut will be used to provide riders with an insurance policy but the Transport Workers Union claims it will just force more pressure on riders.

The union’s national secretary Michael Kaine joins John Stanley and Paul B Kidd to explain the battle between riders and the company.
