Time to fly away – but where to and what travel insurance do we need to take?

Luke Grant

Chris Smith and travel expert Justin Jamieson discuss the details around what travel will be like when the international borders open up. And what happened to the cruising industry getting ready – it seems to have been left behind. Currently in Australia you can only get insurance for countries that we are “allowed” to travel to which at the moment is none! But this will change. The borders opening is the start and we’ll soon see insurance companies coming to the party as destinations open up. There is a hitch though. Insurance wise we’ll be limited to countries that we’re “allowed to go to”. Countries with high tax rates, good medical facilities etc.
This is good but for people who like to explore the more unknown it is going to be an issue.
