The practicality of Labor’s electric car policy

One month away from the election and energy & climate policy looks set to be front and centre.

Labor have announced a 45% emissions reduction target but have excluded some of the big emitters like agriculture & steel so to achieve this they’ll need to focus on some other sections of the economy.

This is where Labor’s policy of half of all new car sales being electric comes into play. 

But just how viable will this be.

With these recent policy announcements honing in on a ‘green’ future, Michael enlists the help of Trent Nikolic from Caradvice.com.au to explain some of the misinformation about charging an electric vehicle… and how long they actually take to charge.
