New Wests Tigers Assistant Coach David Furner says it was a phone call from Head of Football Tim Sheens, which convinced him to join the club.

This week, the Tigers confirmed the Bulldogs Assistant Coach would join the club, effective immediately to work as their Defensive coach.

He’ll work under Sheens, who will transition to be the club’s head coach for the next two years, before Benji Marshall takes over.
