The confusion after Perth’s three-day lockdown

The Perth lockdown is over Monday at midnight after only three days, despite the incubation period for COVID being five days. To add to this the two cases were not close contact cases, so it seems that the lockdown may have been a waste of time with a possibility the virus could still be in the community undetected.

6PR Drive host Oliver Peterson, highlights how the new restrictions are inconsistent as schools will return in person, but universities will be online. Restrictions will also see gyms closed and pubs and cafes will open. Oliver joins John Stanley saying the restrictions are not clear or consistent and are sending mixed messages to the public.
