The 12 year old who overcame her fear and helped her community

Most of us would find it near impossible to confront our fears but 12 year old TJ Kleeman has found a way to confront her fear with the help of her mum Tabetha.

Having feared the graveyard beyond their backyard, TJ overcame her fear after her mum advised her to try confront her fear by cleaning the graves.

She now loves her volunteer work and was awarded the Tweed Shire’s 2020 Young Achiever in Community Service award on Australia Day.

TJ and her mum Tabetha join John Stanley to share their story.
