When Labor MP Emma Husar took her dog to work and had her staff take the dog for a walk, it caused a furore.

Ms Husar is now on personal leave pending an investigation into alleged misuse of  employees. Ms Husar said she began bringing her dog to work to keep it safe.

Having pets in the workplace can be of benefit to not only their owners other workers can also enjoy having them around.
