Dr Ian Wright, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Science, Western Sydney University, about why local councils don’t offer incentives to encourage the use of home water tanks.

 

The federal & state governments have thrown billions of dollars at rebates and incentive schemes for people to put solar cells on their roofs which has reduced power bill for some people and put more juice back in the grid.

 

But when it comes to water tanks, federal & state government have been completely hopeless.
