Seafood mislabelling restricts consumer choice

Scientists warn almost 12% of the seafood products consumers buy, aren’t actually the product they’re advertised as.

The Minderoo Foundation has found shark and snapper are the most common products to be incorrectly labelled.

Rural reporter Madelaine McNeill caught up with ocean policy manager Emily Harrison to hear what’s fuelling the issue.
