Scathing review of live export regulators
Farmers want to see the recommendations from a scathing review into the live exports Industry implemented as soon as possible.
The Agriculture Minister is promising to act on all 31 recommendations from the Moss Review, including the re-introduction of an independent regulator.
The report blames failures of the Agriculture Department on budget cuts in 2013, and the removal of animal welfare compliance measures under former Minister Barnaby Joyce.
