Remembering the life of Chuck Yeager

Chuck Yeager, the man who first broke the sound barrier has passed away at 97.

The news was announced by his wife, Victoria on Chuck’s Twitter.

Chuck was only a 24 year old captain when on October 14, 1947 Chuck made history upon the bright orange Bell X-1 Aircraft.

Celebrity scientist and author Dr Karl Kruszelnicki joins John Stanley to share the tale of a man who lived life literally beyond the speed of sound.
