Former AM Radio Program Director John Brennan OAM passed away last night, aged 89, after an extended illness.

Credited with discovering and training some of the great stars of Sydney radio, “Brenno” as he was known to his colleagues made talkback radio the premier format in Australian radio.

Chris Smith broke the news to his audience this morning this way.
