Rural News

Livestock losses from the catastrophic floods in North West Queensland will be in the hundreds of thousands.

AgForce Queensland is coordinating part of the response for graziers who for many “won’t earn an income for three or more years from here.”

Farm infrastructure losses are estimated to be more than half a billion dollars, which will take farmers years to recover.

Fodder is being air-dropped to some stranded cattle, as hay donations from other states is being trucked north.
