Professor Henry Woo on Prostate Cancer Awareness Month

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer diagnosed in men in Australia and the third most common cause of cancer death. In Australia, in 2021, it is estimated that 18,110 cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed. Survival rates are improving for this type of cancer with the five year survival rate for prostate cancer being 95%.

September is International Prostate Cancer Awareness Month which aims to create awareness and assist in the fight against prostate cancer.

Professor Henry Woo, Urological Surgeon from Sydney Adventist Hospital joins John Stanley to discuss.
