Pete Graham’s touching tribute to Aussie icon Frank Ifield

Clinton is joined by radio veteran Pete Graham to discuss the passing of his friend, Aussie music icon Frank Ifield, who left us on the weekend at the age of 86.

Ifield, renowned for his unique incorporation of yodelling into his songs, achieved remarkable success in the 1960s with four UK number one hits. Notably, he also played a pivotal role in The Beatles’ early career by providing them with a platform as a support act in 1962.

With a musical journey spanning seven decades, Ifield recorded an impressive 25 albums and was honored with the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2009.

His passing occurred peacefully in Sydney on Saturday night.
