NSW Productivity Commission suggests lifting ban on nuclear

Robert Parker, member of the Australian Nuclear Association & founder of Nuclear For Climate Australia, joins Michael regarding the release of the three-year study by the NSW Productivity Commission on ways to boost the state’s economy which gives hope to the possibility of a nuclear power future.

 

The report by NSW Productivity Commissioner Peter Achterstraat, titled “Rebooting the Economy”, makes 60 recommendations to improve living standards in the state which includes lifting the ban on nuclear electricity generation to allow small-scale nuclear reactors to help underpin the state’s energy supply.
