There’s a swag of new models coming this year, first major release this month the new fully imported and German sourced Holden Commodore in three body variants and I’m looking forward to driving it in Victoria next week. By the end of the month a new Subaru Liberty and Outback will have arrived so too an upgraded Honda Odyssey people-mover as well as the sixth-generation Volkswagen Polo. The larger Peugeot 5008 SUV also arrives this month, also the longer-wheelbase Lexus RX-L SUV, so to the latest Maserati Quattroporte and Ghibli models as well as a new Nissan Navara ute. BMW’s new X2 arrives in the first quarter so too Alfa Romeo’s first SUV, the Stelvio. In April Mercedes-Benz much awaited X-Class ute, the new smaller Jaguar E-Pace SUV, the stunning Lamborghini Urus SUV and a new small SUV from Volvo, the XC40. Also due in the second quarter the new Jeep Cherokee, BMW M5, Aston Martin DB11 Volante and Audi RS4 Avant. June will bring a facelift on the popular Ford Mustang, a new Kia Sportage, the VW Tiguan Allspace, a new Hyundai Santa Fe and Bentley Continental and a new Porsche Cayenne. The third quarter will see the arrival of a new Aston Martin Vantage and a trio of new Mercedes-Benz models – the new A-Class, CLS and C-Class while BMW will launch the I8 Roadster and M3 CS. A new Subaru Forester SUV arrives in September, the new Ford Endura SUV and the 8-series BMW. I’m David Berthon
